Description
Our medium weight eight yards kilts are extremely popular, the medium weight fabric gives the perfect balance between style and comfort. It is still light enough to wear comfortably in the summer, but the extra weight gives it a better shape over the hips when worn. Our kiltmaker takes your specific measurements and creates a unique kilt. Each one is unique and represents the finest Scottish tailoring today.
This kilt is made from tartan woven from House of Edgar, a company with a reputation for their high quality of fabric.
Kilt manufacture takes between 7 to 8 weeks depending on availability of the fabric with the mill. We cannot ensure availability of all fabrics at all times.

As this is an item that is made to each individual customer's precise measurements it will take between 5-7 weeks to complete. This includes cutting the cloth, hand stitching and finishing. Should you require your kilt quicker please call us on 0131 510 9285 to discuss.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on made to measure items, unless they are faulty as it is unlikely that we will be able to sell a made to measure item to another customer. You can visit our measuring guide here - Measuring Guide Ensure your measurements are accurate re-measure at least twice! If possible get a tailor or seamstress to measure you up. To help our kilt makers please let us know what date you require your kilt for. We have made every effort to ensure the colours on screen match the actual fabric colours as close as possible. However, we can not guarantee an exact colour match, as colours will vary depending on your screen settings and resolution.

Delivery: 24 hours from time of despatch, week days only. (For remote areas such as the Highlands or Islands, this may be a 2-3 day service)
Orders placed before 3pm are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this time will not be shipped until the next working day.
Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday will not be dispatched until Monday or next working day if a Bank Holiday is applicable.

Please remember to select ‘exchange’ as your “Reason for return”, and include a note in the parcel of what you would like the item exchanged for. If you select any other reason, we will automatically refund you.
At the Scotland Kilt Company we want you to be entirely satisfied and 100% confident in us and our products. That is why we have, what we feel is the best returns policy of any online Highlandwear retailer.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us for an exchange or full refund within 365 days of your original delivery. The only exception to this our tailor-made, made-to-measure garments, unless they are faulty, due to the bespoke nature of these items.
Please note - If you are sending your item back to be exchanged or refunded you will not be reimbursed for initial postage paid or postage cost back to us, unless the item was faulty.
We reserve the right to deny refunds or exchanges on items which have been worn, without original tags or packaging and are not in their original condition.
International Returns
Please send your goods back to us at the address below. Please clearly mark 'returned goods' on the outside of the package and on the customs label if required.
