Kilt manufacture takes between 7 to 8 weeks depending on availability of the fabric with the mill. We cannot ensure availability of all fabrics at all times.
If you would like to ensure availability of fabric before purchasing please contact us either by phone or email.
All kilts are produced in the "To Sett" style where the pattern or sett on the back of the kilt appears the same as it does on the front of the kilt.
We are able to offer kilts as the "To Stripe" style separately but this incurs additional charges and must be discussed with our sales team either by phone or email to ensure feasibility.

This full 8 yard kilt is available in a selection of older tartans that are less well known than many of the current modern tartans available today. It includes some tartans that have even disappeared from more common usage. This collection is woven by one of the oldest surviving and most respected mills in Scotland.
Due to the unique nature of these tartans they are not woven on a regular basis and as a result they are not always available. To ensure your required tartan is in stock, please contact us on 0131 510 9285 to discuss your requirements and check availability.
Each kilt is made to measure by a kiltmaker in Scotland of extremely high repute. The kilt is made with a full 8 yards of material. Front edge has double fringe, there are two belt loops at the back. Each kilt has 3 buckles and straps for size adjustment. This kilt is pleated to the sett but can be pleated to stripe by request.
Material type: 13oz weight 100% pure wool. Tartan shown is Cranston Dress Muted.
As this is an item that is made to each individual customer's precise measurements it will need to be made to order.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on made to measure items, unless they are faulty as it is unlikely that we will be able to sell a made to measure item to another customer.
You can visit our measuring guide here - Measuring Guide
Ensure your measurements are accurate re-measure at least twice! If possible get a tailor or seamstress to measure you up.
To help our kilt makers please let us know what date you require your kilt for.
We have made every effort to ensure the colours on screen match the actual fabric colours as close as possible. However, we can not guarantee an exact colour match, as colours will vary depending on your screen settings and resolution.
